The trainers and coaches of ONCD America are able to assist you with any number or level of training sessions and modules to fit the resourcing needs of your parish. Training is typically done, depending on scheduling logistics, over a period that could start as early as Friday evening and as late as Sunday afternoon after Divine Liturgy. Workshops and seminars can last anywhere from 60-90 minutes up through an entire day, typically 6 full hours with a one-hour break for lunch.

Team training for parish health teams can be a critical factor in the overall success of the ONCD cycle. Training covers all NCD fundamentals: the concept of parish health and its relationship to parish growth, the 8 Quality Characteristics, the 6 Growth Forces, and the ONCD process as it will unfold during the entire 12-18 month cycle. Training is done via PowerPoint and a workbook is included for each participant.
Duration: 5 hours (approximate). Sessions typically begin around 9 or 10 am and finish no later than 4 pm.
Requirements: Parish must provide an LCD projector and a large pad or nearby white board.
Cost: $1,000/day plus travel expenses.
While this is taught in the basic ONCD team training workshop, some parishes feel it's advantageous to have an ONCD Coach facilitate this workshop, which immediately follows the conclusion of the Focus Groups.
ONCD coaches and trainers can assist the parish's CHT with the facilitation of the Action Planning Workshop,helping the CHT distill the results and feedback from the first round of Focus Groups, and develop a plan to implement the necessary changes identified as necessary for the parish to address their Minimum Factor.
Duration: 4-6 hours, depending on work to be done. Sessions typically begin around 9 or 10 am and finish no later than 4 pm.
Requirements: Parish must provide an LCD projector and a large pad or nearby white board. Other requirements will be sent by the Coach/Trainer before the APW begins.
Cost: $1,000/day plus travel expenses.

Duration: Hands-on training workshop modules can very from 1 - 2 hours, depending on training goals and familiarity of and application of subject matter, and are typically grouped to allow up to 3 to be taught in one day.
